Terms of Service

1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

DOME Exams™ ("DOME", "we", "us", "our") is an online, voice-based oral-board and certifying-exam practice service available at domeexams.com. DOME is operated by Injexa Technologies LLC ("Injexa"), a Florida limited liability company.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Injexa and govern your use of DOME, including the website, the exam simulator, and any related features. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information and is part of these Terms. Before your first exam you must also accept DOME's Recording Consent Notice, which describes how your voice and exam data are processed; that notice is also part of these Terms. If these Terms and the Recording Consent Notice conflict on how your voice or exam data are handled, the Recording Consent Notice controls.

By creating an account, starting a free trial, or using DOME, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use DOME.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use DOME. DOME is designed for physicians, residents, advanced practice clinicians and other professionals preparing for certification examinations. You may use DOME only if you can form a binding contract and are not barred from using it under applicable law.

3. Educational use only, not medical advice

• DOME is exam preparation only. Nothing in DOME is medical advice, clinical guidance, or patient care, and DOME is not a substitute for clinical judgment, current clinical references, institutional protocols or formal training.
• Cases are fictional. Cases are fictional teaching material. Any resemblance to a real patient is coincidental. Some clinical images shown in cases are real, de-identified images used under open licenses (see Section 8); the patients and stories built around them are fictional.
• Physician-reviewed, but may contain errors. DOME's cases are physician-reviewed but may contain errors, omissions, or content that is out of date. Do not rely on DOME content to diagnose or treat any patient.
• AI can make mistakes. The examiner, patients, consultants and other characters in a DOME case are voiced and played by third-party artificial-intelligence models. AI-generated responses can be inaccurate, incomplete, inconsistent or inappropriate. Transcription of your speech can also be inaccurate.
• Grading. Your score is produced by DOME's own rules engine applying written criteria; it is not produced by an AI model. DOME scores are practice feedback only. They do not predict, guarantee or indicate your result on any real examination.
• No guarantee of exam outcome. We do not guarantee that using DOME will help you pass any examination.

4. No affiliation with any certifying board

DOME is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the American Board of Emergency Medicine (ABEM), the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA), the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or its Certification Board (AANPCB), the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), or any other certifying board. References to these organizations or their examinations are for descriptive purposes only. DOME does not have access to, and does not use, any actual examination questions or confidential examination materials. Exam formats described on our website are based on publicly available information and may change at any time at the board's discretion.

5. Your account

• You may create an account with an email address and password or by signing in with Google. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• Your account is for one individual. You may not share your account, resell access, or let others use your subscription.
• Provide accurate information and keep your email address current; we use it for sign-in, account and billing notices.
• Tell us promptly at support@injexa.com if you believe your account has been compromised.

6. Subscriptions, free trial, and automatic renewal

In short: Try DOME free for 7 days. Your card isn't charged until the trial ends, so cancel before then and you pay nothing. After that it's $49/month. Cancel anytime and keep access through the end of the month you paid for. Payments are non-refundable.

• Free trial. New subscribers receive a 7-day free trial on their first exam only; the trial is not offered again for additional exams or if you subscribe again later. Your card is collected when you start the trial, and nothing is charged during the trial.
• Automatic renewal. When the trial ends, your card is charged $49 automatically, then again every month, until you cancel. Your subscription renews monthly at the then-current price for your plan unless you cancel.
• Subscribe now. If you choose "Subscribe now" during a trial, your trial ends early: your card is charged $49 that day, then $49 automatically every month until you cancel.
• How to cancel. You can cancel anytime in Manage billing (on the subscribe page and your account page, and under Billing in your account menu), which opens our payment processor's (Stripe's) customer portal, or by emailing support@injexa.com from the email address on your account. If you cancel before the trial ends, you are not charged. Once you cancel, you will not be charged again.
• Access after cancellation. When you cancel, your subscription ends at the close of the billing period you have already paid for (or, during a free trial, at the end of the trial). Your access continues until then, and no further charges are made.
• Payments are non-refundable. All charges, including the first charge after your trial and every monthly renewal, are non-refundable, and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods or unused time, except where required by law or for billing errors, which we'll fix. If you think you were billed in error, email support@injexa.com from the email address on your account.
• Founding price. Founding members pay $49/month, locked for as long as they stay continuously subscribed. The list price will be $99/month later. If you cancel and come back later, the price at that time applies.
• Price changes. Other than the founding-price lock above, we may change subscription prices. We will notify you by email in advance, before any price change applies to your renewal, and you may cancel before the new price takes effect.
• Promotion codes. A promotion code applied at checkout may change the price you pay, as shown at checkout.
• Billing descriptor. Charges appear on your card statement as INJEXA TECHNOLOGIES.
• Payment processing. Payments are handled by Stripe through Stripe-hosted Checkout. DOME never sees or stores your full card number. By subscribing you authorize Stripe, on our behalf, to charge your payment method on a recurring basis as described above. If a payment fails, your subscription may become past due and access may be suspended until payment is resolved.
• Taxes. Prices are in U.S. dollars. If any tax applies, it will be shown before you pay.
• Free invite access. We may, at our discretion, provide free access through an invite code until the end date stated when you redeem it. You will not be charged for invite access, and it does not turn into a paid subscription unless you separately choose to subscribe. Invite codes have no cash value, may be limited in number of uses, may expire, and may not be sold or transferred.
• Free demo. Some content may be available without an account or subscription and may be limited or withdrawn at any time.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

1. Enter real patient information. Do not speak or type real patient names, dates of birth, record numbers, or any other information that could identify a real person. DOME's cases are fictional; your answers are transmitted to third-party AI providers and stored as described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Copy, scrape, record, download, redistribute, publish or sell DOME cases, prompts, scripts, stimuli (images, ECGs, lab values, ultrasound clips), examiner dialogue, scoring criteria or other content, except for your own personal, non-commercial study. This does not limit anything an open license permits you to do with the third-party images listed on our Credits page.
3. Use DOME content to build, train, fine-tune, or evaluate any competing product or any AI or machine-learning model.
4. Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract DOME's source code, prompts, rules engine or scoring logic, except where applicable law expressly permits it.
5. Attempt to manipulate, jailbreak, or prompt-inject the AI characters, circumvent usage limits, or bypass access, payment, consent or security controls.
6. Use bots, scripts or automated means to access DOME, or impose unreasonable load on our systems or our providers' systems.
7. Share your account or sell or transfer access.
8. Use DOME to harass anyone, or to submit unlawful, infringing, abusive or harmful material (including through bug reports or feedback).
9. Misrepresent DOME scores as official examination results or as endorsed by any certifying board.
10. Use DOME in violation of any law, or in violation of the usage policies of our AI providers.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations (see Section 12).

8. Intellectual property

• Ours. DOME, including its cases, scripts, stimuli, examiner prompts, rules engine, scoring criteria, software, design and the DOME Exams™ name and marks, is owned by Injexa or its licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms and (where applicable) your paid subscription, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use DOME for your own exam preparation. No other rights are granted.
• Third-party content and open licenses. Some clinical images in DOME are used under open licenses, such as Creative Commons licenses, and remain the property of their authors. Each is credited, with its author, license and any changes we made, on our Credits page and in the debrief of the case where it appears. Those images are governed by their own license terms, not by the ownership statement above, and nothing in these Terms restricts what those licenses allow. All other images and diagrams in DOME are created by DOME. If you believe a credit is wrong or missing, tell us at support@injexa.com and we will correct or remove it.
• Yours. You keep whatever rights you have in the words you speak or type into DOME ("Your Input"). You grant Injexa a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, process, transmit, and use Your Input to operate, secure, support and improve DOME and to grade your performance, as described in the Privacy Policy.
• Feedback. If you send us feedback, suggestions, bug reports or "not credited" reports, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
• AI output. Text and speech generated by AI characters during a case is provided for your personal study under the license above.

9. Copyright complaints

If you believe content on DOME infringes your copyright, email support@injexa.com with the subject line "Copyright notice" and include the information required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3): your contact details, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the material you believe is infringing and where it appears on DOME, a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorized, a statement that your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act for the copyright owner, and your physical or electronic signature.

10. Third-party services

DOME relies on third-party services, including Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting and cookieless page-view analytics), Stripe (payments), OpenAI (speech transcription and the examiner's synthesized voice), Anthropic (the AI characters) and Google (optional sign-in). Your use of Stripe-hosted Checkout and the Stripe customer portal is also subject to Stripe's terms. We are not responsible for third-party services' acts or omissions, but we choose and configure them as described in the Privacy Policy. DOME does not use your browser's built-in speech recognition.

11. Availability and changes to DOME

DOME is provided on an "as available" basis. We may add, change, or remove cases, features, tracks, or providers, and DOME may be interrupted for maintenance or because of provider outages.

12. Suspension, termination, and account deletion

You may stop using DOME at any time and may cancel your subscription as described in Section 6. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue DOME. If we discontinue DOME entirely, we will tell you by email in advance where practicable and will stop all future charges. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 3, 4, 8, and 13 through 17) survive.

Account deletion. You can delete your account at any time on your account page (Account, in the account menu), or by emailing support@injexa.com from the email address on your account; we respond to emailed requests within 30 days. Deleting your account immediately cancels any active subscription or free trial (no further charges; access ends at once) and deletes your account data as described in the Privacy Policy. Payments are non-refundable (see Section 6): except where required by law or for billing errors, no refund or credit is given for the unused part of a billing period.

13. Disclaimers

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, ACCURACY, AND UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. DOME IS FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY; IT IS NOT MEDICAL ADVICE AND IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR CLINICAL JUDGMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT DOME CONTENT, AI-GENERATED RESPONSES, TRANSCRIPTIONS OR SCORES ARE ACCURATE, COMPLETE OR CURRENT, OR THAT DOME WILL PREPARE YOU FOR OR HELP YOU PASS ANY EXAMINATION. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, INJEXA AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, EXAM FEES, LOST OPPORTUNITIES OR CAREER CONSEQUENCES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO DOME OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO DOME OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO DOME IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM, OR (B) $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

15. Governing law and venue

• Governing law. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or relating to them or to DOME are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
• Venue. Any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or DOME must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you and we consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Either of us may bring a qualifying claim in small-claims court.
• Talk to us first. Most concerns can be resolved quickly by emailing support@injexa.com, and we encourage you to contact us before filing a claim.
• Consumer rights. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under consumer-protection laws that cannot be waived by contract.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a banner on the site before the changes take effect. The updated Terms apply from their effective date, and your continued use of DOME after that date means you accept them. If you do not agree to the changes, stop using DOME and cancel your subscription. Changes to the Recording Consent Notice require your re-acceptance before your next exam.

17. General

• Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Recording Consent Notice are the entire agreement between you and Injexa about DOME.
• Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• Severability; no waiver. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
• Electronic communications. You agree to receive notices electronically at the email address on your account.
