Read the stem, then talk to a simulated patient: history, examination findings on request, explanation and a management plan — in Australian practice.
Free 7-day trial · practice as much as you want · 35 consultation stations, 11 clinical stations and 6 procedure stations · physician-drafted, under specialty reviewWhat the AMC Clinical Examination is like
The AMC Clinical Examination has 16 assessed stations — 14 scored and 2 pilot — plus rest stations. Each station gives you two minutes of reading time and eight minutes in the station.
Most stations use a simulated patient while the examiner observes and marks. Check the AMC's current candidate information for the version you will sit.

Practise the way you’ll be examined.
Say it out loud
The marking credits what you actually say to the patient, not what you meant to ask.
Use the reading time
Plan the station in the two minutes before you go in: what you need to ask, examine and explain.
Ask for the findings
Examination findings are given only when you ask to examine.
Read the feedback every time
Every station ends with feedback on what you covered and what you missed.
